The Corp members posted to Ijare community ,in Akure, Ondo state, yesterday organised an academic talk for some schools in ijare community. Despite the supposed strike action by the NLC, the Corp members As part of their CDS (community Development Service) decided to go to various schools to give academic talks to the students, it was mainly about how to do well in the university, what are the problems to be encountered in school and how to over come them,how to survive in school when all hopes seems lost, how to read and remember what has been read and lots more. Since a majority of the senior class just wrote the WAEC( West African Examination counsil). The students and managements of most schools were deeply greatful to what the Corp members did, hoping that this will serve as an encouragement to the students at large.
