A meta tag is a tag (that is, a coding statement) in the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) that describes some aspect of the contents of a Web page and allows for its functions to be called and embedded at any point of the page. It's is the boundary of codes. Especially for a Web page.

Meta tags are majorly to optimise your site on site engines. i.e. making your site easily visible on search engines.

To add meta tags to your site,

Copy the following lines of code and insert them between the <head> and </head> tags in your HTML document.

<title>Your title</title>
<meta name="author" content="Site Author">
<meta name="Description" content="Site description">
<meta name="Keywords" content="google, site">

Title: the title of your website
Author: the name of the developer or owner of the website
Description: a brief description of what your website is about
Keywords: some related words or phrases that when someone types on a search engine(e.g google) will bring your website as part of the result.

NB: you need to change the tags in the code pasted above.
For example: <meta name="author" content="mainevibez">

If this the one u were looking for, input it one <head>ur meta tags code </head> or just look for the </head> and paste above it

If this the one u were looking for, input it one <head>ur meta tags code </head> or just look for the </head> and paste above it. The head tag is in template, login to Blogger, goto settings, template, u will see edit html click and check for the head tag
