There is no doubt of the fact that it is the wish and dreams of virtually every Nigerian to travel abroad for greener pastures, improved standard of living, business purposes, study and tourism. It can not be be over emphasised that day in day out thousands of Nigerians throng the embassies to apply for a visas.
But unfortunately in most cases are being denied this visa application .
According to analyst, there 5 main major reasons why Nigerians will always be denied a Visa application .
In the course of this post we will critically examine and we will also be looking at how to avoid falling a victim of this pitfall.

1. Poor Interview Skill: Some visa applicants are being denied visa entry in the course of interview due to the impression formed while being interviewed (such being overwhelmed anxiety) by the consular. Take for instance when a question is being put before you like "do you have a relationship abroad?" Is asked.

3. Blank Travel History : Most embassies expects that a Visa applicants ought to have gone on tour to other countries. Before applying with them. They may not allow you use their as your first travelling experience. Even when it comes to the circumstances that you have not travelled before.
This is one of the major reason most embassies don't give Nigerians the the privilege to travel abroad due to lack of low travel histories.

4. Insufficient Funds:Travel abroad entails alot of expenses such air fares, accommodation abroad, feeding basic travelling allowance, all this bill just has to be cleared before departure. The foreign embassies which applicant intend applying to has to has to be fully convinced that applicants has more than enough funds to take along and sustain him or her. To this end, a thorough check up will be carried on your statement of account provided by applicants, if the consular officer is not satisfied with the balance reflecting in your statement of account the applicant will definitely be denied entry visa!
5. Lack Of Home Ties:All visa application are expected to have a significant home ties in their country as part of the requirements for visas procurement by foreign embassies. These homes ties can be in form of land properties, running business, marriage, family and children. So as to earn some level of trust from the visa officer that applicants will surely return home at the end of the visit abroad to get back to his /her home ties.
