oyb: Akoka/Fola Agoro side. Outage was everywhere it seems. Lots of people asking their twitter account. Really not going back to them until I see 4 bars at every corner in my place or move to another place..... Not worth the aggro |

4llerbuntu:What could be the cause of this? The same thing happens with Spectranet and some MTN IP addresses. |

I have dumped my ntel, I actually have 2 sims but no longer subscribing because it doesn't worth it. Might re consider when they improve their service. What's the use for unlimited when I can hardly get 2mbps on a supposedly 4g network, on top of that signal is low and I can't move my phone/modem around because of lack of wide coverage. It's really pathetic how they have regressed after all the initial hype. Shame. |

olurotimi1:Thank you. I bought the modem today. Since then the signal bar has been blinking. The guy at the store told me it's gonna change from red to blue which it has. But it's not working still? Could it be there's no signal in my area? Cuz the signal bar just keeps blinking |

jimihendrix: connect to it with your phone or pc and go to the browser. enter into the address bar 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.8.1 not sure which one is the gateway on Mifi . it will open the settings of the Mifi. there u will see the info you need, including signal level if any.. |

back to ntel, signal has improved in Yaba(Alagomeji/Adekunle area) and I'm on the one month plan, finally left swift. I'm getting full bars here, this is an improvement from my testing three weeks ago when I had to move towards the window to get one bar. Speedtest is showing 34.52mbps download and 8.77mbps upload speed. Fast.com did not go beyond 2.0mpbs though but I had multiple downloads running when I carried out the test, was also streaming alongside too |

Ntel seems to have some serious problem with IOS devices. i have been having serious issues connecting to websites outside of nairaland, browsing the appstore, and generally with updating. it's been so bad i took my ipad to the office today. i am connected to the office wifi and browsing without any bottlenecks whatsoever. its only ios as i have a note and lumia and those dont have any connectivity issues. |

Just to add my 50kobo. I did a lot of research before going for ntel n so far no regrets what so ever. Since I bought it over a month ago I've been streaming Netflix without a glitch. The only challenge is that the signal strength fluctuates btw 2 and 5 bars. The better the signal strength the better the speed. But even at 2 bars Netflix streams perfectly so I'm not complaining. I recommend them if they have good coverage in your area. I use their ZTE MF286 router (needed it for home use only) which has great wireless signal that covers my entire house and is still strong even when I step outside. It has dual wifi band (2.4 and 5Ghz) a USB port and 2 RJ11 ports (which ntel does not support yet tho). And best of all it is not locked to their network. The day their head starts to touch I will just change sim. |

iconmichael: Ntel is stylishly falling my hand hand. Network coverage has improved but speed has dropped. Tried in Festac 24th/25th and after making mouth about their speed, I was disappointed |
Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by safsoorg: 8:48am On Dec 27, 2016 |
Ntel started like a house on fire, streaming with full force.nowadays, they are just a load of rubbish. Can barely stream a match or station without it continuously skipping. For 10k/month, they are failing big time. |
Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by olurotimi1: 3:40pm On Dec 27, 2016 |
pheesayor:according to ntel map coverage, festac has not been properly covered. So don't expect anything super. |
Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by pheesayor(m): 8:12pm On Dec 27, 2016 |
olurotimi1: But there's full Bar in Festac, same with Yaba and there's an ntel shop in Festac. They won't open an outlet there if there's no coverage |

safsoorg:Ntel and streaming don't work well, its just good to download, i can't even enjoy browsing with it cos of cloudflare |
Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by Nobody: 4:58pm On Dec 28, 2016 |
malikalhaj: it is a very frustrating issue. i am currently using a vpn. otherwise 90% of my warez downloads will go through a cloudflare hell. and thats on a pc on my ipad, one of my apps is refusing to refresh its information - i can only assume its another cloudflare issue, as the app is a wrapper for a website, and the website pops out cloudflare before i can browse. ntel really need to step up their game on this. if i didnt have a vpn, i'd be tearing my hair out about now. |
Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by malikalhaj: 10:44am On Dec 29, 2016 |
