let get it clearer. Reinsurance company insures the excess liabilities (sum insured/assured) of an insurance company based on some predetermined agreement. Reinsurance company don't insure the property/ assets/ life of an insurance company directly. it is another insurance company that insured directly the property/ assets/ life of another insurance company.

insurance is good but not in Nigeria. the process alone is enough to kill you and sometimes, they don't disclose relevant information, terms and conditions just because they need customers, you only get to know what's attached to your policy the day you are to make claims.
