Police Spray Teargas On Journalist At The House Of Former Guber Candidate by badohemmy(m): 9:33pm On May 28, 2016
Some journalist who came to cover the election of Ndokwa Neku Union where given red eyes when police sprayed teargas on them along with the mob who ambushed the house of the election winner, Chief Johnson Opone, a former gubernatorial candidate in Delta state.
Teargas was released by police at the residence of Chief Johnson Opone when youths invaded his house this evening after he won the Ndokwa Neku Union election.
Sketchy report got so far from a source who insist on being anonymous claimed that the youths where due some money for their role in getting him elected, but some persons tried to divert the money forcing the youths numbering hundreds to force their way into the house where the journalist were waiting for food, during the struggle that ensued, the policeman started spraying teargas which forced the crowd to run for safety, many journalist were affected, with many coughing and falling on the table.
