EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND
According an interview Funke granted the media, she made it known to the public that she was born and bred in ikorodu, Lagos state, Nigeria, and she had her first taste of education in Calabar where her biological father resides.
Funke Akindele had her Education in Ogun State Polytechnic where she did OND in Mass Communication and a degree in Law from the University of Lagos.

Funke Akindele before making her way to the acting industry, had worked in television before switching to cinema, and later she became known for her starring role in the family-oriented Nigerian television show I Need to Know.

Funke’s qualifications as it where includes an OND in Mass Communication from the Ogun State Polytechnic, then Degree in Law at the University of Lagos.
