A bill which if passed will elongate the validity of results from the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB, to three years from the one year it presently stands on, passed second reading in the senate yesterday June 1st. The bill is being sponsored by Senator Joshua Lidani from Gombe.

During the deliberations on the bill, Senator Sam Egwu said he supports the bill but that the extension of the JAMB results to three years will cause more confusion as most of the Universities, particularly the government owned schools, have limited space.

Senate President Bukola Saraki spoke in favor of the bill. The senators later voted in support of the bill and then forwarded it to the senate tertiary education and TET Fund committee for further legislative input.

Better

At least, it saves the helpless jambites the stress of having to resit for all the papers again if they do not secure admission.

Our educational system is just so messed up..

At the end of it all. One company will offer you 30k as salary after three years of searching for a job..
And that's how Buhari cunningly failed in one of his campaign promises of 5k monthly for all unemployed graduates. Not like the money will do much in these hard times but at least it was supposed to be a good start.
It is well. The rich is getting richer and the poor is getting poorer. God dey
