There appears to be light at the end of the tunnel in the lingering crisis rocking the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) following a meeting between the feuding parties Amaju Pinnick and Chris Giwa at the House of Assembly on Thursday. The Chairman House of Hon Bukar Goni Lawal from Yobe who invited both parties said he was mandated by the Speaker of the House Hon Yakubu Dogara to harmonise the warring factions and did not invite them to apportion blames, but for fair hearing and find a way forward as Nigerians are tired of the impasse. “We are here to give a fair hearing to both parties and not to apportion blames. Football is a unifying factor in Nigeria and the only industry in which we speak with one language and hence they should look for a way forward. “Both groups should sheath their swords and concentrate on the progress of the game and not crisis that has also affected the local league with the youth being the victims and suffering.
