This post is for anyone who wants to take a break from pop music. I am aware that Nigeria is very pop oriented, however I would encourage everyone to learn at least one instrument. Also, there are many music opportunities out there such as classical, ballad and instrumental.

I will be posting music from any of the three genre mentioned above. The music are meant as a source of inspiration and seeing as they are not mine please don't use the clips illegally and be respectful. Thank you.

I really like the sound of the Erhu, it like the deeper sounding version of a violin. It's amazing how an instrument with just two strings can sound so beautiful.

I highly recommend that you watch Spirited Away and all of Studio Ghibli's animation. Not only is the message beautiful but the music themes and animation itself are amazing.

If you have ever seen the Disney movie Pocahontas, then you would have heard this song - Colors of the wind.
