They Never Heard My Plea by forandy(m): 5:48am On Jun 06, 2016 |
I looked at her in sadness trace her cheek with my hand a silent tear runs down my face, I held my hands together and I prayed that God would give her back, but he never did. I sat huddled behind a car they called my name and told me to come out "You can't hide forever! Such a baby! Come out now, it'll be worse if you don't! Freak, everyone wishes you were dead!" well sometimes, I did too. I sat slumped in my chair staring at the giant F on the page, now everyone knows just how stupid I am "I always knew you'd be a failure, you should have listened to me when I told you to quit," the teacher said smugly while everyone else pointed and snickered. I cried while he packed his clothes in a bag never said a word, I learned long ago it did no good, I didn't look up as he walked out the door I couldn't stand seeing him leave again but what drove the knife in deeper was he didn't even say goodbye. I begged and pleaded for him not to bring me there because I knew what would happen if he did, my childhood would be taken away piece by piece for hours and hours to his delight while my family laughed below me and my boogeyman. I soothed my sorrows alone in a field with eight cans and a bag to drown out the world and the nightmares its plagued with my eyes stared at the stars and thought that heaven must be real because I'm in Hell. I tied the knot with shaking hands tears blur my vision as I sign my name at the bottom of the page, my fingers tremble as I place the envelope on my bed while I put the noose around my neck I try to go through with it and I hate that I can't but sometimes death is scarier than life, I pour the pills out into my hand I stare at them for a moment, hoping its enough surely this will end it all once I take them all there's no going back, can't back out now So I throw them all in my mouth and swallow but sadly, I woke up the next day. I held the blade against my vein and I dragged it across my skin, leaving a crimson path in its wake I bled their words and my pain out until their was nothing left but emptiness. I tried so hard I screamed and begged called and pleaded prayed and cried, but no one ever came because my plea No one heard 2 Likes |

There are things that happen to us and in our pleas for respite, no one seems to be listening Good poem |
