Good you made mention of the vehicles, I feel this thread when read with an open mind isn't about MPG or fuel economy but luxury/standard features installed in these cars plus their engine powers (HP).
Finally, not everyone wishes to drive an econobox, if you're looking for one, go buy a Nissan leaf, Honda fit, toyota yaris, toyota Prius or something in that region..

these cars aren't your standard issue typical city or compact rides with 1.5L and bland options ..c'mon
