When determination is not there, confusions and distractions will definitely set in.
Here are eight ( ways to stay focused and determined.

One (1)
Save your time
Many persons will love to kill their own time. Don’t be a time murderer. Save time. Do things to the best of your ability. Don’t procrastinate. Judiciously utilised every available time.


Two (2)
Avoid attractive distractions
Many friends are just there to pull you down. They have degrees in PHD (Pull Him Down). If you’re not too careful with them, they will ruin your beautiful existence for you.

Three (3)
Wrong partners
By wrong partners, am actually talking about any one that you call a friend/bedmate/sexmate/colleagues etc.
The way you carry people is not usually the same way they would carry you. Mind them. Else you may live to regret knowing such people. Is either you avoid them now or it will be too late for you to cry when your head is off. God forbid.

Four (4)
Choose the best career that suits you
Some wants to be musicians/Pengicians just because their friends are into such fields. Is Life a photocopy machine? Must you duplicate what others are doing?


Five (5)
Be the best you can
When you feel so lazy about whatever you’re doing, your time snatcher is there like a shadow. You are gifted doesn’t mean you should not improve.

Six (6)
Be at peace with people
You must not make everyone your friends or foes.
If you are keeping malice with people the more you gets distracted. Their messages/calls/chats/pictures and appearances will always make you uncomfortable.
To be focused, be at peace with people.

Seven (7)
Good mentorship
Have a good mentor. Not compulsory anyway. But when there is a mentor you can reach for assistance/advice one-on-one with him/her. Some have mentors who they will never reach till the last trumpet will sound. Life is a choice. Choose a good mentor and always stay focused as you draw encouragement/life from them just like the tree by the Riverside will draw strength from the river. Have a mentor you always reach.

Eight (
Know who you are
When you cannot even define yourself in the journey of life, what else can you define?
Know your calling. Chase after your dreams like a wounded Lion after a goat. Dare to know why you are living and stop existing.
