Hello, please i need your suggestion as i was given a travel ban for overstay by one day in South Africa. And efforts to plead with d authorities that it was not intentional is proving abbortive.

To me I dnt think is just because u over stay in south africa, if u over stay in any country u will be only be fined by the number of days u have stayed then if u can't pay then dat is where the authority decide what to do maybe something like dat will happen. But in ur own case is like they did not mention anything like paying fined. You either overstayed or you did not... which is it? There is a lesson to learn here. Hmmm... most countries make you pay a fine.... I wish you well...you have a lesson coming your way.
