SMEs can not get loans when the big boys have borrowed and used Federal Govt to buy the loan at a loss to the banks through AMCON.

They borrow money for business and go to USA TO buy properties. The amazing thing is that instead of the brain dead youths to see what is morally wrong with that action and the timing, the argument was "Is that a mansion ?"

Their idea died because of lack of funds yet they are the ones screaming 'Tyrant'

You support people who killed the economy , who borrowed from the bank and refused to pay until banks sack workers to be able to survive.

Yet they scream LEAVE CORRUPTION and face ECONOMY.

As if they are under spell.

Oga calm down. Nobody is saying he should leave corruption and face economy. Fighting only corruption will not boost the economy. The common man is dying on the street because hardship. We're only making two requests
1. While he's fighting corruption, he shouldn't ignore the economy as well
2. While he's fighting corruption, he should go after all the goats that ate our yams not leaving the brooms and going after the umbrellas

shikena!!!

and if Soludo didn't recapitalise those banks to the tune of 25billion, you think Sanusi would have any bank left for his so called sanitizing?
what Sanusi did was a "storm in tea cup"
he Created unnecessary panick in the industry.. and ended up damaging confidence in the system, for example the share holder of those banks where more than capable of injecting enough capital to spur the banks, and if he didn't have ulterior motive which to victimize some interest and groups, that would have been the ideal things to do.

My response was to a dude blaming GEJ for the crisis in the banking sector which obviously predates GEJ era. However, if you are comparing Sanusi to Soludo, am afraid there ain't much to choose between those two. Sanusi was obviously too aggressive in enforcing his control measures, however Soludo was the bigger danger. He consolidated the banks (with the banks became suddenly bigger over night) WITHOUT robust risk management frameworks and controls. The banks who couldn't effectively manage billions of Naira were suddenly entrusted with trillions of Naira in depositors fund. What do you think would happen to a fellow who squanders #10,000 when he suddenly come across #10,000,000. In the latter part of Soludo's era, several banks flouted the banking single obligor limit without backlash from CBN. The controls were simply not there.
