French coach, Laurent Blanc has been fired by club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). The club took the decision to replace Blanc despite winning the just concluded French league. Laurent Blanc, 50, who resumed at the club in June 2013, had an impressive 73.26% winning odds. He won a total of 11 trophies for the club; Ligue 1 (3) 2013–14, 2014–15, 2015–16, Coupe de France (2): 2014–15, 2015–16, Coupe de la Ligue (3): 2013–14, 2014–15, 2015–16, Trophée des Champions (3): 2013, 2014, 2015. There are reports that Sevilla boss Unai Emery will be replacing Blanc as coach of the club. The decision comes weeks after much speculation about his future.
