not necessarily, its only zain dt requires that. Others are automatic with pc suits, all the network providers and their settings are included in latest Nokia pc suit.

no there's nothing wrong with it, and I'm not desperate to sell it. If i sell it, that's fine, if I don't sell it before December then it will just sit down for 4 years till I return to Nigeria from university. (Since you can't buy SIMs separately in the US and most Phones are SIM locked to a particular SIM)
