Wales will not only have the chance to continue their journey at Euro 2016 with a win over Belgium this week, but Chris Coleman's side will also have the opportunity to reach uncharted waters by reaching the semi-finals of a major football tournament for the first time ever.

Wales' last - and only - major competition before this summer's European Championships was the 1958 World Cup, which the team slowly but surely progressed through until a quarter-final meeting with eventual winners Brazil saw the nation go crashing out.

However, their opponents in the next round of Euro 2016 Belgium will not prove so easy to beat, with Marc Wilmots' team steadily finding their feet in France following an opening loss to Italy.

Eden Hazard was the architect of the Red Devils' 4-0 thrashing of Hungary, and Coleman is likely to ask his men to try and stifle the Chelsea star if they want to beat Belgium - as they did in qualifying last year.

Coleman has been sweating over the fitness of captain Ashley Williams, who suffered a shoulder injury in the latter stages of Wales' 1-0 last-16 win over Northern Ireland. However, the defender has recovered and will start against Belgium.
