You're eating a giant slice of greasy pizza, sipping on an ice-cold beer and attempting to stay cool in 80-degree weather. The last thing you want to be worried about at a summer festival is your outfit.

So how do you choose an outfit that will make you stand out for all of the right reasons without making you wish you'd never left the air-conditioned house?

Clai Green, owner of Luci Boutique, which has locations in downtown Milwaukee, Mequon and Wauwatosa, shares insight on festival looks that are practical, comfortable and fashionable.

OFF-THE-SHOULDER

"I think the off-the-shoulder shirt is fantastic for all ages," Green said. Also look for off-the-shoulder styles in long-sleeve, three-quarter-sleeve and cap-sleeve tops.

"The biggest thing I hear a lot of women say is they don't like their arms," Green said. The variety and versatility of off-the-shoulder garments make them work for almost every body type.

The signature look this festival season is the off-the-shoulder dress, Green said.

CASUAL DRESSES

While fitted dresses are in this season, tight clothing can be restricting and uncomfortable, especially in the heat. Green recommends wearing a more casual, looser fitting dress to fests.

Add a more defined waistline by wearing a belt, ribbon or rope with it. A rope gives the ensemble a Bohemian edge.

BOHEMIAN

Boho-chic is always a popular summertime look, especially for music festivals.

"It really is an all-age trend, depending on the cut and style of the garment," Green said. "Boho-chic consists of paisleys, flowers, bell-sleeved arms and an open shoulder or off-the-shoulder top."

KIMONO

Blazing hot temps turn into cool lake breezes at night. A lightweight, printed kimono paired with a camisole is a trendy combination that accommodates the fluctuating weather.

COMFORTABLE SHOES

If you must wear heels, kick off the stilettos and put on a pair of comfortable espadrille wedges for walking the festival grounds. Otherwise, Green suggests sticking with sandals, short gladiators or flats.

THIS SEASON'S COLORS

Hot colors this season for both men and women include cobalt blue, mint, coral, royal green and navy.

FOR THE MEN

A perfect festival look for men is a nice fitted tee with a pair of flat-front shorts in bold colors. If you can get away with a shallow V-neck, do it, Green said.Read more at:bridesmaid dress | elegant evening dresses
