The Federal High Court has introduced an electronic filing system to replace the manual method of filing court processes.



At the official launch of the system in Abuja, the Chief Registrar of the Court, Mr Emmanuel Gakko, said the court would however temporarily continue the use of the manual method alongside the digital system.

Mr Gakko expressed appreciation for support of members of the bar towards the success of the initiative.

The Chief Consultant of the project, Mr Niyi Olaniyan, said the initiative would ease filing procedure in the court in line with global best practice.

Radio Nigeria Judiciary Correspondent reports that the occasion featured practical demonstration of the workability of the system and its advantage over the manual method.
