Lately, natural hair is becoming more popular in Nigeria. Lots of people are embracing their natural hair and rocking it in different ways and styles.

BattaBox attended the just completed Locks Appreciation Day 2016, where gorgeous men and women with beautiful Dreadlocks came together to network, discuss and appreciate their natural hair.

"Loc appreciation day is like Christmas Day for dada," says Ade - the event organizer

Our presenter, Adeola spoke to an amount of people at the Locs Appreciation Day with lovely locks who talked about their locs journey and what people have had to say about their hair style.

"My brother didn't find it funny, he asked if i was broke," says one lady
