Salam alaykum.Pls i would like 2knw if cigratte isn't prohibitted in islam.Coz many muslims bliev only alchohol is forbidden and nt cigerate

There is no hadith that states the Prohibition of cigarrete, scholars ijma (consensus) reveals that Smoking is haram/unlawful because of its menance and effects, cigarrete is a silent killer, the manufacturer also affirms its danger by inscribing on the cigarrete that 'smokers are liable to die young'.

This is what the Hadith says about such things.

'on the authority of Al numan ibn bashir (R.T.A) who said ,'i heard the messenger of Allah saying,

'verily what is lawful is clear and what is unlawful is clear, and between them there are ambiguous matters which are unkown to most mankind.

He who avoids ambiguities protects his religion and his fame. And he who falls in ambiguities may fall in what is prohibited/unlawful, like a shepherd draws near to a reserve and is about to enter it with his cattle.

Verily every king has his own reserve and Allah's Reserve is His unlawfuls/Prohibition.

There is indeed a lump of flesh in the body, if it is sound the whole body is sound as well, and if it delays the whole body decays it- It is indeed the heart'
