My prayer before meal is almost a part of me.
I say my food prayer thus: "Bless me oh lord and this your gift which i'm about to receive from your bounty through Christ our lord, Amen."
I'll advice that we all say our prayers before and after meals.

I can not eat without praying. In fact, I always feel something is missing in me when I eat ( this happens with biscuits) without praying.

've been taking too much for granted these days---I've already wolfed half the food down before I realise I hadn't "blessed" the food embarassed

. If you can remember to wash your hands, it's good to remember to pray before eating.

I did that once in boarding school and i never did it again.

During an evening meal,in the school's big dining hall,in the midst of my fellow secondary school students,i closed my eyes for prayers,like others did (so i thought),but when i opened my eyes,my plate was gone.
Did god provided another plate for me that night?NYET!I went to bed hungry that night.From then on i promised myself,NEVER AGAIN! Make God punish prayers before meals!Infact, e no go betta for prayers before meals!! angry

This prayer takes me back to my primary school days. In my school we did not pray per se more like we sang along to the tune of the song.

prayer works more faster than any action used to get something to your subconscious mind,
so its definitely advisable to pray before doing anything,

I guess you guys understand that we have a creator and He is the all-knowing one God,
so I advise you to channel all you praises to him alone, not calling any other name.

you should also remember that your creator can never be a man- so don't ever call onto a man.
