A 39-year-old housewife, Mrs Maria Okolie, in Asaba, Delta State, has allegedly consulted a native doctor’s oracle to help find a lasting solution to alleged sexual escapades of her husband.

According to reports, the housewife, a mother of two, has been locked in the web of rumour mills from her friends who gossiped that the husband has been recklessly sleeping around with other women.

It was gathered that the housewife knowing that believing her friends, was the beginning of her downfall and disaster in marriage, kept a close watch on her husband and allegedly hired detective to follow him around.

It was also gathered that she was not getting enough facts about her husband’s escapades hence her decision to consult a native doctor who collaborated her friends allegations about her husband, and recommended that she baths with concoctions.

Ignorant of the native doctor and her friends’ plan, she agreed and lost consciousness after having her bath with ingredients given to her by the native doctor, and started having affairs with the native doctor.

Expectedly, her friends immediately informed the husband of what was going on between his wife and the native doctor, and all hell was let loose, as she was allegedly beaten to a pulp by her husband.

She was said to have confessed her sins, and the native doctor who lives somewhere in Ugbolu community was arrested by the police in Ugbolu/Allah Police Division. However, the police who pleaded anonimity, confirmed that the native doctor was still being held for his atrocities in connection with housewives in Asaba and its environs.
