The Euro 2016 has come and gone with Portugal triumphing over the French team in the finals. There is no doubt that the victory is a result of team work, but the winning goal was scored by one player - Eder.

The media reports following the victory seems to have drawn little attention to the Portuguese forward, Eder. More emphasis has been on the injured superstar, Ronaldo, who was stretched out in the first half of that final match against France.

Analysts in some quarters found this to be unfair to the striker that scored the winning goal. The story would have been different if Ronaldo had scored that. Most pictures circulating on the internet with the Portuguese team with the trophy barely show Eder holding it.
