We ve been working on this project for sometime now..
we are contracted to install cctv, dstv distribution for 6 flats including BQ, data (internet) distribution within the apartment..

the dstv has a central distribution point.. only two dishes serving the six apartment including BQs..

for this building and this location.. we will be using SMILE 4G network.. this has been tested

we will be doing other installations by this weekend.. more pictures coming

Neat installation. quick questions - With the two DSTV dishes, does it mean that the tenant would only need to connect his decoder and the system is up and running? Also the use of SMILE 4G ...does it mean the data bundle would be paid centrally?

Thank you Mam,
1. the tenant only need to come with only their decoder.. no extra wiring needed.. ( in case of extra view provision for cabling has been done to take care of that as well.. even if they have 3 dstv decoder it has been taking care of.)
2. one box can serve the whole unit, but its better for each tenant to have their own box to avoid controversies (paying subscription centrally can be difficult especially if one tenant consume more data than the other..

always good to have a central draw box distribution point for dstv per flat... no need for trunking in future in case tenant want to add one or more decoders
