Fuel Scarcity: Nigerians Happy As Federal Government Answered Their Prayers by elsaturn(m): 4:08pm On Jul 16, 2016
Residents in different states in Nigeria have appreciated and thanked the Federal government for answering their prayers during the time they were facing fuel scarcity in the country.
In the Nigeria News today brought to you by NAIJANEWSNIGERIA Residents of different states in Nigeria appreciated the newly approved pump price fixed by the federal government.

This newly approved pump price became effective within 1 week and some days it was adopted.
During the time Nigerians were facing fuel scarcity and unstable fuel price, almost all the petrol filling stations in Nigeria raised their fuel price from 120 per liter to 250 per liter. Some states like ENUGU sold 300 naira per liter in almost all the petrol stations in ENUGU.

During the period of instability in petrol price some motorists decided to park their cars at home until there is a more stable and increased supply of petrol. According to the News that reached NAIJANEWSNIGERIA some of the commercial drivers joined also in waiting for a stable petrol price by parking their vehicles at home. Shop owners and business men who depend mostly on the product to run their shops closed down their shops and others that still wanted to continue with their business started increasing the price of the services they render.

As it was reported to NAIJANEWSNIGERIA during that period in ENUGU commercial bus drivers carrying passengers from ABAKPA to OLD PARK before the time of the fuel scarcity was taking the rate of 50 naira per each passenger but during the period of fuel scarcity it turned to 100 naira per each passenger and as the situation continued to worsen, the commercial bus drivers started collecting the sum of 150 naira per each passenger.

Today the federal government has fixed the new pump price at the rate of 145 naira per liter making the people of Nigeria happy and thereby stabilizing the supply and price of petrol in the country. Now persons that abandoned their business because of the formal insane fuel price increase and limited supply are back to business looking happy.

However, it was reported to NAIJANEWSNIGERIA that during this had times many petrol stations stopped selling because they don’t want to be the ones loosing after the government said that any station selling petrol using the unapproved rate will b sealed off and this made all other petrol stations selling to have a lot of people coming to buy petrol. They were long queue in the petrol stations selling that time even at a very high price rate.

Meanwhile many Nigerians after hearing the new fixed pump price are still complaining that the new price is still a bit high compared to how it was before.

Is this report copied or from the original reporter? If it's the later then the reporter needs to go back to school.

What is per each passenger?
