This are just a few places where I feel a Nigerian shouldn’t be told to be very sharp and observant.

Petrol station.
Imagine visiting a filling station wanting to buy fuel or kerosene or diesel. You will need to place close attention to the pump attendants cos they could be very cunny. Most times whenever they finish selling the product to a customer before you, they will deliberately not put the fuel dispenser to a starting position and will just continue to sell from where the point of the sale of the last person they sold to stopped. So In this case you have to look closely at the fuel dispenser to make sure it has been rest back to the figure 0000 before they start selling to you.

Clubs.
Yes you go to the club to enjoy and feel relaxed but if you get too carried away your valued possessions could be gone in minutes. Take note of that individual who barges into you on the dance floor pretending to be tipsy or drunk my brother in the process of barging into you he might have picked your pocket but due to the fact you are carried away with that beautiful with a big back side rocking you, you tend to overlook it, no worry after club nobody go tell you before you go begin find your wallet or phone.
Mechanic or Auto garage
You have decided to go an auto market to change one particular part of your car. My brother once you invite that dealer or mechanic to come and loosen that part so he can take it into the market be very careful and in fact try and follow him so that car part you won’t be exchanged with a bad one within the twinkle of an eye

Church/night vigil
Am sure you are surprised to see this on the list abi.For those who take their phones to church to charge and just leave it where you are charging without checking up or spying at it from time to time one day your monkey go go market e no go return o lol. There are people who are in that your church just waiting for the service to end and hope everywhere gets rowdy and use that opportunity to pick one phone from that spot where all the phones and electronic devices are charged in the church. To avoid this make sure you are very close to your phone and if it’s impossible, sit close to it try and peep or stand up to check the phone from time to time.

Taxi(danfo, Molue)
You board a taxi and you think you are free from all those pickpockets abi? You are wrong even in that danfo or taxi where you sit there are people waiting for you to just loose guard and take that your priced possession from you. Some Taxis and Danfos have spaces in between the chairs and for those who prefer to put their phone and wallet in the back pocket am sorry for you o this professional pick pockets will surely have a way to remove that thing from your pocket in such a manner you won’t even feel the slightest touch. Na when time reach to pay that agbero conductor you go begin narrate as you take waka till you enter the bus

Market
Am sure we have all been to the market at one point or the other if you look closely on entrance to the market you will sight some boys who might just approach you and tell you they know where you can get that thing you came to the market to buy.No follow them They could pretend to be taking you to that shop where you will buy that Product and just take you to a certain corner of the market where they will dispossess you of all your valuables at gun point or at even Axe point Lool.

Parties(owanbe)
When you are at that party and you start to get carried away because of the party jollof and the drink you will pack home and you neglect your bag and valuables on the table to follow that guy taking food past your table don’t be surprised Your bag and valuables might have been taken home as souvenirs by those boys wey don dey watch you as you dey do gragra on top jollof rice, so whenever you are at that party just relax and keep calm the rice go reach you and if not take it in good faith another owanbe is coming soon.
Street carnival/crusade.
Your street carnival or crusade is here again wow una go flex well well that day. But that carnival is not a place where you decide to go ad show off all those your expensive gadgets to the world. In some hoods the boys there are so cunny they become instant friends with you,get you drunk and the next day you will probably meet yourself in the gutter with all those gadgets you bought with your life savings gone just like that.

Gsm market/Tech market
The likes of computer village and Alaba market falls in this category. They have just showed you that IPhone 6+ and you have tested it and you really like it and instantly you paid for it.when it’s time to pack the phone into its case no allow them go do am for inside shop where your eye no fit reach o if not na FuFu or Eba you go meet inside as you reach house, you fit take the eba or fufu with the soup wey remain for house to take console yourself.

Soccer viewing centres
You are going to watch a soccer match at a viewing centre at night and you decide to Go with the likes of your ipad and iphone and the rest and probably the match will be finishing at 11pm or even later than that my brother once you are done and on your way home don’t be surprised some big bros wey don dey eye that thing for your hand since una dey watch match fit block you for road o.

Banks
Due to lack of patience to withstand a que in the banking hall, you decide to give that money to a total stranger I the bank because it’s almost his/her turn and you are so confident and stupid to leave the bank immediately. No worry na for your dream you go receive the deposit alert. Even if you will give your deposit to someone who is almost at the front of the cashier make sure you stand and a corner in the bank and observe he as paid and even collect the evidence of payment afterwards from the person.

This are just my opinion and as it is said no man is an island, feel free to add yours it could help someone somehow have a nice week ahead. Check out more informative stuffs on www.gistquaters.com
