Nigerians sometimes are there own worst enemies, we have seen countless pictures of mangled bodies due to road traffic accident on this board.. The comments on this thread represent what's wrong with this country.. So because the man dey " hustle" and should be left alone, gives him an excuse to overload his vehicle? have you thought of the danger he presents to other road users? Imagine if this bus was speeding and its goods comes loose, have you stopped to think of what could happen to the vehicle behind.. Let us condemn what is wrong for once regardless of who got away in the past.. smdh

Cross lines. Not surprised. Their brakes are probably still bad. These eejits rear ended me in ore three years ago. The driver then tried to escape.

Bastards

Some people in this country sha. Only God go save them. Load meant for the lorry will be squeezed inside a bus and we will start seeing accidents everywhere because of this act. Shan overloading and reduce accident on our highways.

FRSC should come to the north, they'd make a hell of money for FG.

You are likely to be a visitor who does not know how Buhari is running this country. Are you not aware the one sided appointments? In FIRC, the secretly recruited persons just returned from training yesterday. Before this one, there has been secret recriutments in CBN, NNPC, Immigrations. We were even phoned by a northerner senator to allow them some free air because we accussed them. According to him, we Nigerians are not even allowing them breathing space. That we complained about thier dressinging rooms etc. Those are the people who are secretly sharing the appointments.
Whatever happened, whether it is concerning a northerner killing any person outside outsider, no problems. Are you not seeing the Heardsmen killing people anyhow? Have heard once that Buhari jailed any of them? So no point asking Road Marshals to go to Sokoto. If they like they overload, that place is a no go areas and states.

This one is not even full. Come and see the one we saw on Lagos-ibadan exp. Overloaded with tomatoes. But they carried a police officer with them. An FRSC official was about to stop the bus, but he had to let them go after sighting the police man.

No mind them, a mere cargoing they called overload

hahaha safety officer. can we make the analysis or no? what roads? do you know poorly built roads are the causes of the most accident and not overloaded vehicles? of cos, you do have a valid point, but is just like telling a food seller that she used rotten tomatoes to cook her food when you are very hungry. evidently, you will finish the food before complaining. before complaining of accident by overload, wont you first of all build standard roads? my dear, that driver has been doing that business for years and in many parts of Africa that is the norm to overload vehicles. but the we are both sure that they drive at reduced speed which make them always arrive safely than many vehicles without loads. Nigerians are law abiding citizens where there is law and order. you go fear say if you go that station you no go see the driver and him vehicle there again. but no one can say anything about the crime of the other party. na poor man way no get person na suffer pass for nigeria. Do you know how many check points he don pass before them catch am? if there were laws, they would have traced it back to those incompetent check points that collected money from him. make we leave wetin dem write for motor enter motor. Obanikoro way overload helicopter nobody hear am. and no one said nothing. na only poor man dem write law for. if you frustrate that man out of his business he will be the next NDA or armed robber. even poor man go follow criticize poor man and kill am. who go come fight for us?

Summary of your point: traffic rules and regulations can only be obeyed if the roads are in good condition and the police/road safety officers ain't corrupt, right?. Ok boy, spread the word around, let's disregard all traffic rules and regulations from henceforth until all our roads are in good condition and our police/FRSC officers becomes corruption free. Sounds cool!.
