For me SASS all the way, I believe LESS was made for droid trolls.

Have not really used SASS, for me so far LESS rocks my boat and combining it with harp.js makes life a easier

From my own extremely limited experience, if you are working with NODE.JS, LESS should be faster for you, but outside NODE.JS SASS should be faster for you.
Again, this is subjective and depends on your style of coding and your template engine. So again, the answer is subjective, and as far as I am concerned, I dont believe anyone is useless.
