Great job you are doing. What variety of maize is this and what advantage does it have over other varieties of maize. What is the size of the land and what is your expected harvest per acre of land.

I pray everything works as you plans.

The current proze of a kilo of preserved maize is between 100-120. You will make good money from this peoject.

Is it better to sell dried or fresh? How do u intend handling rodents?

Will be selling fresh from the farm in september/October

No squirrel around here. The fresh red corn is on high demand here. Am presently working on the white corn will be sold dry

Its about water mellon, I planted some in my yard & its abt a month now, I just discovered that some Ants/Pets are eating the Water Melon flower,.........So my question is What Pesticide should I use,,,,I know "Bushfire" frm ur previous topic,,,but I don't know how to mix the pesticide and how to apply it......

Sorry for responding late. Bushfire is for the grasses/weed.

Please do keep us updated on ur progress. Most thread on agriculture section don't ve concluding part. They tell us how they start n invest in a farm project, then they stopped. I look forward to seeing ur progress. God bless ur hustle.

Weed ve taken over the farm. Weeding of the weeds will soon start.

Seems u don't visit ur farm as often as u should, my observation. What method of wedding wud u employ? Have u fertilzed? Someone suggests that close planting space helps in controlling weed n in resisting wind break.

I visit every saturday because of my busy schedule at the office. We are employing the manual weeding method. Boys have been contracted to do that(weeding). Afta weeding we will apply the NPK fertilizer

Spacing is very vital ingrowing corn. Adequate space helps in the size of the corn. If corn are not spaced, the corn turnout small in size
