1. Eat well: The best food for our health are not expensive. Foods are natural medicines for our bodies when we eat them in the right proportions. there are foods for young people as well as for adults. there are foods that are good for someone else that are not good for us because of our health conditions or body chemistry. The simple wisdom about eating well is that we eat the right quantity and quality of a balanced diet based on our ages and health status.



2. Drink enough water: Water is the major component of our body. it makes up 70% of the body fluids and performs a lot of functions in our bodies; this includes acting as a solvent, carrier of nutrients, temperature regulator and body neutralizer. it is therefore expedient that we drink plenty of water everyday. factors such as our health status, how active we are and where we live are responsible for our daily water consumption.



3. Get enough sleep: Sleep has the ability to optimize mental and physical energy and optimal levels of sleep (about eight hours a night) are linked to reduce risk of chronic diseases and improved longevity. one simple strategy that can help ensure we get optimal amounts of sleep is to go to bed early; getting into bed by 9.00pm or 10.00pm is a potentially useful investment in terms of our short and long term health and well being. shutting down the computer or turning off TV early in the evening is often all it takes to create the time and space for an earlier sleep.



4. Regular exercise: We exercise our bodies by walking, jogging, dancing, making use of home gym equipments, laughing etc. we should make it a rule to park our cars a few meters away from our offices so that we can walk down to our offices as a form of exercise. just as we have time table for eating, we should include regular exercises into our time tables too.
