According to new research women with big butts are smarter, healthier and less likely to suffer from chronic illnesses.
The study which was conducted by Oxford University analysed data from 16,000 women. After which they found out that women with larger than average butts are more smarter and also more resistant to chronic illnesses.
They also found out that women with bigger butts are likely to have lower levels of cholesterol and glucose, as well as higher levels of Omega 3 fats.
The Lead researcher of the study professor Konstantinos Manolopoulous said: "The idea that body fat distribution is important to health has been known for some time. However, it is only very recently that thigh fat and a large hip circumference have been shown to promote health; that lower body fat is protective by itself."
Women with bigger butts are also favoured with a hormone called Dinopectina (anti-inflammatory and anti-diabetic) and an adipose tissue of the bum which prevents cardiovascular disease.
