Juventus might have agreed a deal to sell Paul Pogba to Manchester United for a world record €110 million but that does not in any way change the fact that Juve is a team on the rise and could do better without the French man.

After the signings of Marco Pjaca, Dani Alves and Mehdi Benatia, Juve have agreed a deal to sign Argentine and Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain for €94 million which will be funded majorly from the funds received for Pogba. What this means is that Juve will be adding a striker who scored 36 goals in 35 Seria A games last season for Napoli equalling an 87-year-record. With such stat, it is safe to say that only the likes of Luis Suarez, Robert Lewandowski and Zlatan Ibrahimovic can be compared with the Argentine based on last season's form.

Higuain is one of the world's best forwards and will only make Max Allegri's team more formidable and a delight to watch considering his style of play. The Argentine at 28 and in his prime is a real goal threat and can win games on his own for his team as Napoli ran Juve close for the title last season. Higuain has scored an impressive 71 goals in 94 Seria A games for Napoli since signing for €40 million from Real Madrid in 2013. Also to be noted is his 107 goals in 190 La Liga games for Real Madrid before his exit. The former River Plate forward has top notch technical skills and pace in the final third which makes him dangerous while counter-attacking which suits Juve's style of play considering their high energy pressing game and their 3-5-2 formation. This will mean playing Barzagli , Bonucci and Chiellini as defenders with Evra and Alves play as wing backs, while Marchisio, Pjaca and Pjanic play in central midfield allowing Higuain and Dybala to torment opposition defence next season. Paulo Dybala (22) on his part scored an impressive 19 goals in 34 Seria A games in his debut campaign last season. Dybala is more the creative of the two and will play deep, protecting and holding up the ball for Higuain to finish in an exciting set-up considering their quality. With so much noise on MSN (Messi, Suarez and Neymar) or BBC (Benzema, Bale and Christiano Ronaldo) this will be nothing compared to that of Dybala, Higuain and Pjanic (DHP) next season.

The signing of Higuain in theory will invariably render the Seria A title race a one man race as Napoli and Roma who were Juve's closest rivals last season have lost their best players in Pjanic and Higuain to Juve. With Higuain, Juve have signed a sure capocannoniere winner (Seria A highest goalscorer) since Alessandro Del Piero scored 21 goals in 2008. With the signing of the Argentine, Juve have not only moved a step closer to winning the Seria A but also dominating Europe considering the guaranteed Argentine's goals.

At Euro 2016, Italy boasted the best backline which comprised three of Juventus' defenders and
which has been further strengthened by by the signing of Medhi Benatia from Bayern Munich coupled with the signing of Miralem Pjanic which would add not only power but impressive craft to their team.

Juventus might have lost Alvaro Moratta who was important in big games but compared with Higuain, the Spaniard is still a raw prospect and one for the future.
