The police and some reported group of about 50 armed gunmen are currently engaged in gun battle around akesan junction, in Igando/LASU area of Lagos state.

According to multiple reports making rounds online and social media, there is heavy gunshot currently being heard at the Ewedogbo area of Igando, along LASU road in Lagos.
According to some of the eyewitnesses, the gunshots are being fired by militants who invaded the community while others claim it’s from heavily armed robbers.

This is very true. There have been several gunfire this morning from around 7:30am till now of unknown Gunmen coming through the water ways in Akesan area of Alimosho LGA og Lagos State. Although the Nigerian Police and OPC members have been repelling their entry in the towns for  possible kidnap. This is the same water way that was used to kidnap the Oniba of Iba Town. Pls forward to appropriate bodies. There is an Army barracks close by in Ojo (Ojo military cantonment) for reinforcement.

These gunmen are using wave attack. 50 Gunmen! That's what you call, scare tactics.
