Nigeria is a beautiful country blessed with so many resources, rich in culture, Values, Skills, Crude and beautiful places.Yes, There are beautiful places in Nigeria, and we would be highlighting you our top five places where you can go with your family,friends or even that special person (winkie).

1. The Obudu Mountain resort Calabar
Obudu Mountain has a beautiful environment and a peaceful atmosphere, (imagine yourself taking in cool breeze with a smile on your face, Wonderful right? Obudu offers that to you.There are tall trees with big canopy like branches shielding you from the scorching effect of the sun. The cattles reared there provide you with fresh milk, cheese,butter which you can enjoy with your family and friends. Obudu is 349km from calabar airport be sure to get a map or tour guide.

2. Yankari Games Reserve
Its a must go place. Yankari games reserve welcomes you entirely to a world of nature,It is located in bauchi state in savanna woodland around the Gagi River. The reserve was established in 1956 and has since become one of the most popular games reserve in Nigeria, boasting of several animals like elephants, baboons,bushbucks,crocodiles,hippopotamuses, monkeys, antelopes and other exciting animals including the occasional lion!. Visit the reserve to enjoy the breathtaking natural features including a secluded cave, warm springs and acres of parkland. After a hot day of game-viewing, relax in the six feet deep Wikki Warm Spring.

3. Ikogusi warm springs
Ikogusi warm springs is located at ikogusi, a town in Ekiti state. The spring is a combination of hot and cold water which meet at a confluence and maintains their temperature,this attracts so many people to come and marvel at the sight each year. Ikogosi warm springs is widely-believed to have a therapeutic effect which relieves the body of aches. Take a dip when you visit and see whether it works for you!

4. Olumo rock in Abeokuta
The rock was said to protect the egba people in an inter-tribal wars in the 19th century. The rock provided sanctuary to the people as well as a vantage point to monitor the enemy’s advance leading to eventual triumph in war. The locals are very friendly and if asked, will often give tourists and visitors informal tours of the dyeing processes. Other popular items to watch out for include local beads, bracelets, sculptures and musical instruments like the sekere and talking drum.On the way back down the rock, the sight of the Ogun river running like a silver chain amidst a forest of aged red corrugated roofs bordered by thick green forests which melt into the horizon is breathtaking.


5. Zuma rock also known as gateway to Abuja is a 45 minutes drive from Abuja. it is located in Niger State. The rock is said to possess certain power which provides the natives with good hiding places,and is even as high as NECOM, the tallest building in Nigeria. What makes the rock special? It is the natural contour in the rock face which leave the image of a human face with visible eyes,mouth and nose. During the times of war, villagers were said to have hidden there.
