Please, it's not quite long I bought this HP laptop. It is working very fine, but what I discovered is that the brightness can not be reduced neither can it be increased. How do I correct it? |

The Os must have been recently reinstalled. Update the drivers and that should fix it. SmithNL: 1 Like |

lazinny:I went to device drivers and I updated the only one driver there. But, still same thing. Or do I need to install different drivers? |

Not from there. Go to the laptop manufacturer website and find the drivers for your pc. OR specifically for display issues which you are experiencing, for Intel PCs download Intel HD graphics driver , for AMD download AMD catalyst. That should fix it. SmithNL: |

It could b caused by using o/s dat has not been activated.Installed 8.1 dat has been activated. |

download and install Windows 8.1 graphics/video driver for your PC. |
