JAMB Withdraws 2016 Admission list by deantimes(m): 5:10pm On Jul 31, 2016
THE Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has withdrawn the list of recommended candidates for admission earlier sent to tertiary institutions.








The examination body said this was to ensure that the University Senate performs its statutory responsibility of conducting the selection of candidates and refer it to JAMB for confirmation in line with the admission criteria of merit, catchment and educationally disadvantaged states as  directed by the Minister of Education, Alhaji Adamu Adamu, at the policy committee meeting.


JAMB in a statement on Sunday said the earlier list was sent to help fast track the process of admission so as to allow other tiers of institutions also conduct their admission.


The statement, signed by Dr. Fabian Benjamin, added: “Candidates should not panic because this is part of the process of the 2016 admission exercise. JAMB regrets any  inconvenience this decision would have caused the tertiary institutions


“The Board regrets any  inconvenience it’s proactive step would have caused the tertiary institutions.”

Few hours to August 1st and am still seeing the south south and easterners here, when are they travelling as directed by their OGA AT THE TOP?

JAMB should have done their home work properly by having a wide range consultation with other stake holders in the education sector before issuing admission in the first place.
Thesame scenerio play out during the exam where candidates were awarded high scores only for JAMB to reduced their scores.

is this body not confused? Just look at em. Considering a guy who just left sec school and hasn't goten his 'O' level result and isn't sure of passing but leaving out those who have gotten outta school, had all their results and all.... Is this body really what Nigeria needs?
