Nairalanders I would like to get your opinion here Would you prefer to get a TECNO phantom that cost N130k with these specs and looks like this or pay N200k on a galaxy s7 Display: 1440 × 2560 QHD display Processor: mediatek Helio x20 decacore clock at 1.7ghz and 2.2ghz RAM: 4gb of LDDR4 Storage: 128gb Camera: 16mp f1.7 with laser auto focus 4k video/ 8mp with flash Battery: 3500mAh Network: 2g,3g,4g LTE We all know the release of the phantom is just around the corner, should TECNO release a phantom for ballers (always what the phantom line was meant to be) or just a reboot of the camon c9 with just more ram and storage let your opinions be heard through either any of their social media handles or contacting them directly of what you want from the #NEXTPHANTOM For more: http://santoscitytech.tk/Would-the-next-phantom-6-have-a-QHD-screen/

Those specs are good but I don't think Samsung will sell phones with that specs for that amount. 1 Like |

If rather opt for the Samsung. The extra 70k is for peace of mind. I've had a Samsung Galaxy S (the debut phone in the series, both the AT&T and T-Mobile iterations) since 2011 and I've literally never had cause to repair any. The vibrant can run Marshmallow due to a custom ROM. I also have the Tecno R7. In two years I've had to change the screen and charging port twice (and is still stuck on 4.2 Jellybean) If not for the RAM difference the Samsung beats it completely. In the long run, if you want peace of mind, add more money and get the Samsung (or any high end phone) 4 Likes 1 Share |

tecno wants to jump out of their level. if I can afford to buy a phone of over hundred thousand naira, am definitely not going for brands like tecno, infinix and their mates. and I see tecno and other chincos are made particularly for third world markets. tecno, better stay in your lane. 3 Likes |

Tecno makes good phones. However, you can't compare the above phone to S6 not to talk of S7 |

With that amount will go for xiaomi mi 5,xiaomi pro, one plus 3, oppo f7, LEeco 2, or LEeco max! That tecno is too expensive for 90k sincerely with those mediocre specs. The above specs is for mid rangers. |

In my honest opinion, using more than 60k to buy a tecno phone is a typical waste of money, a samsung phone can last up 2 years without any problem but a tecno can't give you 9 months of easy use judging from their present phones and how our generation uses phones, if I have the money it won't even be a delibration, I would go for s7 1 Like |
