Chapter 18

it felt kind of award at Starbucks. Truth is, its been quite a long time since I've ventured into this kind of work. But then again, no one was forcing me into it. It was something I chose to do, something I never want to regret doing.

So far my disguise was working fine. My voice, hairdo, and other stuff were in check. No one could even tell if something was odd about me. I was able to convince Ben to move our meetings to later in the evening except for emergencies.

My shift runs from morning till late afternoon. Its harder for me though, going to the studio, photo shoots, dance practice, and other stuff I had to do as a celebrity. But evening it had to be, since Roxanne works in the morning.

I'm making a lot of sacrifices just to be around Roxanne. Call me crazy but that's what love does to you. Make you fall so hard for a person and starts to drive you crazy that you start doing things you normally would not give a second thought to.

I tell myself that its okay if Roxanne does not feel anything for me initially, and somehow, someday, I'm sure she would. I'm a skilled charmer. That is my expertise.

I haven't told anyone how much in love I was with Roxanne. No one even knows about her. Not Ben, not my friends, not my mom. They might get to find out along then line soon. I just wish that day is farther enough. I was so lost in my thoughts that I became oblivious of my surroundings. I felt someone tap my shoulder and then I came back to reality.
