What exactly would you be using the laptop for? what's your field and what softwares would you be running frequently? this would determine the minimum requirements you should have in mind.

Its just for fun, games, movies, music, browsing and I would use it for my project, I'm in my finals.

you can't get a brand new laptop that will fit in that amount. except it's a mini laptop you're going for.
anyway, i have a Sony Vaio core i3 i want to sell. 4gb ram 500gb hard drive. very clean and it's my personal pc.
i just got core i5. that's why i'm selling. you can check my wall to see pic.
