The ever controversial manager of Arsenal football club Arsene Wenger, has spelt out his criteria for signing players.


The Frenchman's reluctance to improve his consistently under-performing squad in the transfer market, has always been a hot topic of discussion, and for Arsenal fans who just cannot come to terms with the Frenchman's actions, maybe his revelation on the factors that influences his choice of players would help.


Wenger outlined this criteria after seeing his side brush aside Norwegian club, Vikings 8-0 on Friday,


"It's not the prices, it's the players. The money is never a problem if you have to pay what is requested."


"The price of a player is down to four ingredients; one is the talent, two is his age, three is how much you expect him to improve your team, and four is his resale value."


"If he ticks all four boxes then the price is not that important. You have to find the player."
