Meeting the real Creator will give our spiritual life a shock but it may well prove also to be our salvation. To remind us of the kind of God we serve, Amos in his book described Him as The Lord Almighty. Amos 4: 13 “ He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind, and who reveals his thoughts to mankind, who turns dawn to darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth- the Lord Almighty is his name.” The best way to overcome any tendency to limit or minimize God is to recall His incomparable, awesome creativity.
