An air compressor is a device that generates and saves compressed air . The potential energy converted from power generated from machines like , the electric motor or diesel engine is compressed in form of air .The compressed air accumulates in a pressure tank attached to the air compressor ,unit up to a safe running limit .When the set limit is reached the compressor switches off .The compressor maintains its OFF mode until accumulated pressure drops bellow the safe limit .When compressed pressure drops , the compressor turns ON by itself.
