The out of Africa theory gives some people airs, so it irritates me. My own position is that there was an Ife, maybe the first one was in North American, Brazillian, Chinese, Arctic or Scandinanvian land would be difficult to determine but the last one established 10 thousand years ago was probably in Africa and the present one in Nigeria, that is Ife Ooyelagbo presently represented by the Ile Ife Ooni in Osun, Nigeria. There are other sites in Ghana, Benin republic and there must have been others in West African lands now occupied by non Yorubas. The Ife Igala is an example. The Nok culture is definitely Ife people and etc.


So if the original York is in England while New York is in North America, why can not the destroyed Ife Oodaye have been in England, Russia or China? Very possible. The Stonehenge people were advanced people. If the original Jews were Negroes and the Ashkenazi are now white people, there are also phenotypically Indian and Mongoloid Jews, why can not the ancient Ifes have been Mongoloid or Caucasoid? All are possible because phenotype is determined by the physical environment. People who were astronauts can abandon home in Russia and set up in West Africa.


So a place was Ife and that could be anywhere on Earth where those ancient astronauts landed but the tradition is kept by Yorubas in Nigeria. People here are mere story keepers. It does not confer any special status on them. Over a thousand years ago, Oranmiyan was the most illustrious person in Ife, though not the most senior, then he went to Igodomigodo and was made Oba, he saw the people as vexatious, so he renamed the land Ife Ibinu, the land of vexation, installed his young son as Oba and relocated to Ile Ife. People from Ife Ibinu established Ife Emai of the Oro people. Oranmiyan returned to Ife, then started to mobilise for a revenge attack on Mecca for the expulsion of Oduduwa, his forebear and Nimrod's descendant. He amassed an army against the advise of Ife people who wanted bygones to be bygone. Being strong willed, he refused and mobilized his army. It was the Bariba that stopped him at the River Niger. He allied with the Nupe, marrying the daughter of the Olu Enpe which the Yoruba call Elempe, the Etsu of Nupe. He ruled the area and that was the founding of the Oyo empire by the more adventurous of the Ife people. The Oyo empire became the largest by extents, most prosperous and successful of Ife states before the industrial revolution knitted the world together properly again. All Ife successor states are ahead of Ife today and do not see Ife as above them. So as Oranmiyan who was the most adventurous, left over a thousand years ago, people who were more adventurous than others, left ten thousand years ago, some earlier and etc. Today, when Oranmiyan's name is mentioned when reeling out the names of monarchs, the listeners would shout in reverence Gbajure! How much more people who left ten thousand years ago? Twenty thousand years ago? Wherever the Ife was sited? The ancient Egyptians built the pyramids without having invented the wheel. The stonehenge people moved multiple storey high stones over hundreds of kilometers thousands of years ago and etc. Those too were Ife people and infact, we now speak an Egyptian language that was acquired thousands of years ago. We abandoned our old language, remnants of which are still in Northern Edo, Kogi and Kwara at the fringes of the Yoruba language zone. The Egyptians came or returned here in sufficient numbers and with enough influence to change our language.

So as we are Negroes today, our ancestors might have been whites, some definitely were. They could all be, depending on the climate of their land, the original Ife. As Europeans are white today, some of their ancestors were black, they could all be, depending on the climate they lived in.


There are human fossils all over Earth, so the out of Africa or out of anywhere theory does not really make sense and infact, the Ife account of the origin of human existence is just a variation of the Sumerian or Egyptian accounts. They are all thesame. Only difference is that Ife stories are still traditionally kept and there is still a memorial city, which is remarkable.
