Another day another nigeria medal dream quashed. Aruna quadri's hopes of winning a medal at the mens table tennis singles game have come crashing down as he lost to world No.1 Ma Long after being beaten in four sets. Quadri, who was playing on his birthday, and his first quarter final appearance in the Olympics, will however see his world rating improve, being the only African to have reached that far in the Games. Not a bad effort given the countrys horrible, shameful, abominable preparations during the buildup to the rio games. What were nigerians expecting? Medals haul? I laugh in portugese!
