Bukusu is part of the greater tribes of Western Kenya and Eastern Uganda.

Bukusu ritual of burying (suspected murder victims) with a live tortoise, two knives, and a torch, was performed. The ritual is usually is done on persons suspected to have been killed to allow the spirits avenge their deaths.

The ritual is usually is done on persons suspected to have been killed to allow the spirits avenge their deaths.

During Juma’s burial, the same was done and he is expected to hunt his killers down and eliminate them. Luhyas ritualists from every nook and cranny were invited to perform and they did not disappoint.

They Buried JJ with a tortoise, knives, and a torch. It is believed that when the torch starts going dim, the health of whoever killed him will start deteriorating.

When the torch goes off, Juma’s killers will die as well.

Are these the killers?

....
While it was not known from where the weapon was found, Police released a statement saying the weapon had been recovered after a shootout on Sunday, May 22, that led to the death of four criminals.

Of the four, one of them was a former police constable who was identified as Simon Muturi.

...However, due to the controversial nature of the murder of Jacob Juma, Kenyans dismissed this report saying that there was a cover up plan to protect whoever the real killers of Juma were.

In essence, with the death of these criminals, it may remain unknown who the killers were as the murder weapon was recovered from them and investigations will eventually be stopped...

....Jacob Juma was murdered on the night of Thursday, May 5, 2016 was said to have been waylaid by gunmen on motorcycle.

The police were later exposed to having inappropriately handled the crime scenes after the car he was found in was moved to the Karen Police Station with his body still inside....
