Here in America, it is common to believe that a female child is a hard lesson for male parents who have mistreated women. This includes "players", abusers, adulterers, etc. Karma will allow their daughters to experience the same by some other guy. Again, this is folklore, but players/adulterers/abusers is often how we describe "real men"

Who knows what's really at play here. Men cant have all male children and expect a population to grow.
