What are you interested in? That would determine the type of business you will do well in. It's not about finding business ideas. It's about what you are willing to do.

Check out these two pages...the first is business ideas for students. The are small business ideas, things you can start with less than 50k not necessarily in the 500k bracket. The second is agriculture business ideas. If you have 500k to invest, that's where i think you should be looking. I hope it helps someone who genuinely needs it.
