There might be a glimpse of hope on the ongoing ASUU Strike in Adekunle Ajasin University after the Congress met yesterday Wednesday 17th August.


The Congress was informed about the readiness of the Vice Chancellor Prof Igbekele Ajibefun to pay two months salaries with two months deductions within the next two weeks but the strike has to be suspended as the Vice Chancellor is ready to stake his honour and neck.

With the way it is, if ASUU finally accepts the offer from the Vc, then they will have to suspend the strike and resume as soon as possible to fulfill the union part of the agreement of resuming before payment is being made.
